A higher form of art exists, one that doesn’t just ask but instead commands. Many claim to be bards, but most minstrels and gleemen are instead ignorantly ordinary—though spectacular to the common man, they remain underwhelming to an actual paletongue. A true bard instills courage or imbues misfortune with chanted words, and some even create music that mends deadly wounds.
